This is probably one of the most unique slots I have ever reviewed so, honestly, I do urge you to check out the instructions before you dive in because you want to know that you are getting everything right when you play. The features that appear in CrypBattle are unlikely to appear in any other slot you have played, which is what makes them so exciting.
CrypBattle offers 5-reels, 3-rows and 40 fixed paylines (i.e. you can’t change the number of lines that you are betting on). The betting will start at just a small 40 cents too, which is awesome. It means that even those with the smallest of bank rolls will be able to get started in CrypBattle.
Playing the Game
At the start, you will be asked to select three characters from five. Each of them has different values. The cards that you choose are not going to be that important until you trigger your free spins. When that happens, they are going to play a dominant role.
In order to trigger your free spins, you will need scatter symbols. Unlike other games from this developer, there are various ‘levels’ of free spins you can earn:
- 3 scatters: 10 free spins
- 4 scatters: 15 free spins
- 5 scatters: 25 free spins
When you trigger the free spins mode, one of the characters that you selected at the start will be selected as the ‘dominant’ character throughout the free spins round. They will become a stacked symbol. This means that you can earn a whopping amount of cash if you are lucky enough to get a stacked on the reels as, more often than not, it is going to help you to form a winning combination.
It is worth pointing out that you can trigger more free spins during the free spins round. Again, this is something which is incredibly unique for this developer. Normally they do not allow you to trigger more free spins. That being said, I did not actually trigger more free spins at all, even when I was playing with a 25 free spin round, so I have absolutely no idea how rare it is. With how often this game loves to pay out (which is quite frequently), I am willing to say that it probably is quite rare. They do not want to keep those wins down to the minimum after all.
This is a game that looks good. There is a lot of colour there and you will have a smile put on your face as a result. The characters are well-designed in an anime-style. In fact, I reckon that this is probably one of the most beautifully drawn slots I have seen in a while, particularly from an ‘unknown’ developer. Couple these gorgeous looks with a fun slot machine and you have a game that is a tremendous hoot to play. I can very much recommend that you check out CrypBattle.
